Every system needs a first line — a boot sequence before anything else can run. This is mine.

I’m a History teacher learning to command machines, in the middle of a career I didn’t plan and a transition I didn’t choose the timing of. I opened this to think out loud: to keep a log while everything changes at once, so that later I can read back and see the shape of it.
